Huby Feast

huey-smOn behalf of the Huby Feast Organising Group I would like to extend a warm welcome to all clubs, societies and groups within our village to participate in this year’s event. All clubs, societies and groups can use the Feast as both an opportunity to publicise their organisation and generate much needed funds at the same time. If there is a club or society out there that would like to present a catering stall then we would be most pleased to hear from you.

The Feast is the one weekend in the year when all our residents can gather collectively on our lovely sports field and celebrate all that is good about our village and present all our children with a day to remember.

Our Group is working very hard to present the village with a FREE fun packed weekend. If your club, society or group would like to join in the fun then please get in touch with me or any member of our group. For those of you who have businesses in the area or maybe just something to sell, perhaps you may wish to have a stall at the Feast.

Prior to the event, on the evening of Saturday, 21st June and by popular demand ,there will be once again a Grand Dance/Disco with live music and Hog Roast which is being organised once again as a much needed fund raiser.

The Feast Day itself will feature an action packed day with Children’s Entertainers, Vintage Fair, Fairground Organ, Birds of Prey Demonstrations, Vintage Tractors, Children’s Races, Dancers etc, all to be confirmed nearer the event.

A new item on the agenda this year will be a Scarecrow Competition with the theme being Hobbies. After display in your garden you will be invited to bring your Scarecrow along to the Feast for judging.
Anyone wishing to assist with this year’s Feast, sponsor a raffle prize, book a stall or become involved in any way please give any of us listed below a ring.
