Huby School PTA fairytale carnival

fairytale-carnival-posterHuby School PTA Carnival – Sunday 5th July

It’s 150 years this year since Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland was first published so the PTA thought it would be fitting to have a fairytale theme for this years’ summer carnival.  Dig out your fairytale fancy dress – there will be prizes for the best costumes – and come along for a day of fairytale-themed fun.

EAT ME – on the BBQ we’ll be serving locally sourced sausages and burgers and there’ll also be strawberries and cream, ice creams, cakes and sweets. Come for your lunch!

DRINK ME – a licensed bar will be serving wine, beer, Pimm’s and soft drinks. We’ll also be serving teas and coffees.

PLUS all the usual carnival favourites – bouncy castle, climbing wall, archery, coconut shy, face-painting, treasure hunt, tombola, raffle, auction and much, much more.

11.30 – 2.30 Huby School Playing Fields. £2 entry.

The Carnival is the main annual fundraiser held by Huby Primary School PTA.

The PTA has done an excellent job of raising nearly £10,000 over the past few years. The money is used to purchase all sorts of equipment to enhance the school for the pupils and provide enriching experiences.

So please come along to the carnival on the 5th July – have some fun and help raise funds for the school.
